The Very First...

This is it. I have finally succumbed to the urge to document my days, nights and trials and triumphs of a soon to be 60-year-old wife, mother, teacher and avid sports fan. My life is not exciting but neither is it boring. 
I am sitting in a workshop learning about connecting my students with students of the world. I feel strongly that as an educator I am preparing my students for a future that none of us can fathom. They will be facing a  bright and scary future. They need to see connections within their life to events that unfolded hundreds and even thousands of years ago.

    Nice hat! Fathoming is an exercise all its own. Wish I could fathom better. Maybe you could teach a class just on fathoming! Love you. Mike
